Podere Barbi, Qui Pro Quo 2022

The Barbi family first planted vines in the rolling hills of Umbria in 1970, and are now into their second generation of family ownership. Believing that passion alone turns great grapes into great wine, they are proud to only use indigenous Italian grape varieties and time-honoured techniques in the vineyard & winery. Quid Pro Quo 2022 is made from a blend of 50% Sangiovese and 50% Montepulciano; the grapes were hand-harvested and fermented without the use of oak to retain all of the fruitiness we love in these varieties. Notes of ripe strawberry, blackcurrant and raspberry lead to a super-smooth, juicy palate with further fruity notes and a good acidity to balance. Ideal with a BBQ, pizza, or cheese.
